For more than 800 years, Carrickfergus Castle has been an imposing monument on the Northern Irish landscape whether approached by land, sea or air. The castle now houses historical displays as well as cannons from the 17th to the 19th centuries.- Artist Audrey Kyle works from a converted barn called Gobbins Studio Économusée, nestled on top of the Gobbins Cliffs on a working family farm. She displays her original unique watercolour paintings, cards and prints in her studio/gallery and runs watercolour experience workshops.
- Located in delightful Whitehead, on the Causeway Coastal route, you'll find an emporium of woolly loveliness at Lighthouse Yarns with designer yarns, notions and inspirational patterns for every occasion, as well as textile supplies and crafts.
- Follow the winding road down to reach this hidden gem. With its picture-book perfect stone harbour and tiny beach, Portmuck Harbour is a lovely place to while away the afternoon. See the stunning North Antrim coastline receding into the distance and the marine traffic bound for Belfast port.
- Experience Stand Up Paddle-boarding (SUP) on the beautiful coastline of Islandmagee and Whitehead. We offer guided SUP tours in idyllic surroundings with a qualified and experienced instructor as well as group sessions, family sessions and courses.
