About

Situated on the scenic Gobbins Road in Islandmagee, Gobbins Crafts offers workshops in jewellery making.

All classes are tutored by Heather, an experienced goldsmith and designer who has taught students of all abilities for more than 30 years. Classes are limited to four, so that the pace can be adjusted to each individual student ensuring that they gain the maximum from the experience.

Heather's fully equipped workshop enables Gobbins Crafts to offer a range of jewellery classes that are suitable for complete beginners and those wishing to expand their skills.  These include:

• Weekday half day classes
• Weekend half day classes
• One to one tuition 
• Bespoke workshops on request

Participants are taught the basics of jewellery making and produce a piece of sterling silver jewellery to take home. No prior experience required, tea and biscuits supplied. Covered footwear recommended.  Age restrictions: Minimum age 14
