The Lighthouse Bakes

2 Marine Avenue, Whitehead, County Antrim, BT38 9QN
Selection of bottles of wine on display

About

The Lighthouse Bistro Bakes is a little hidden gem right beside the sea and just one minutes walk from the train station and Blackhead Lighthouse coastal path. It is also right beside one of the UK and Irelands most colourful and Instagramable promenades.

From Wednesday to Saturday Joni serves his freshly baked sourdough loaves, cakes and buns. Gluten free and vegan options are also available. Favourites include his delicious oven fresh cinnamon buns.

Monthly supper clubs are ticketed events throughout the year and can be booked through their website, often with a wine pairing option (as considered by Jonis wife, Erica).

Expect tasting menus with premium wines, cocktail evenings with local distillerys and also baking and cookery classes (wine included!).
