The Cabin

About

Tucked away just outside of Ballymena with views of rolling hills crowned by Slemish, The Cabin is a rural retreat that invites you to unwind & recharge.

The fire is lit so kick off your shoes and make yourself comfortable. Treat yourself to a steaming Nespresso coffee and take in the view through the floor-to-ceiling windows...there’s just something about nature and the quiet isn’t there?

Wile away the evening with your loved one snuggled up on the sofa binge-watching tv, or pull a good old-fashioned boardgame from the cupboard and get as competitive as you like! When the fire has burned low and your eyes have grown heavy, tumble into a decadently comfortable kingsize bed and let the crackle of the last of the burning logs lull you to sleep.

For a quiet hideaway weekend, keep the fire burning and between coffees & chapters pull on your wellies and venture outdoors for some fresh air. Wind around our growing orchard, sit by the trout-filled lake & follow the trails into our private woodland. The Cabin is fitted with a compact Kitchenette equipped with an air-fryer, hob-burner, combi microwave-oven, toaster, kettle, and fridge-freezer, allowing you to rustle up your own meals. Alternatively, finish the day with one of our fantastic local takeaway eateries or for a true indulgence, slip into something smart and venture out to be wined & dined at some of our favourite restaurants.

And for those hungry for a bit more of the outdoors, The Cabin is the perfect springboard for your adventures; located close to Northern Ireland's most scenic and renowned hotspots. Brave the bustle of Belfast City Centre for shopping, culture, & some of the best Irish cuisine, venture into the rugged Glens of Antrim, follow the Game of Thrones route from Castle Ward to The Dark Hedges, sip on Bushmills Whiskey in the iconic distillery, or blow off the cobwebs exploring coves, caves and coastline on the North Coast. And at the end of a busy day The Cabin will wrap you up like a warm hug.
