Fiddle and Fife

About

The Fiddle and Fife Project in Mid and East Antrim aims to promote and preserve our rich local musical and cultural heritage through the exhibition and preservation of artefacts, video, photographic, and audio recording. This project is a creative collaboration between Mid-Antrim Museum and local musicians Johnny Murphy, Willie Drennan and David McClean. Recently returned from a tour in early 2025 to the Burnavon Theatre in Cookstown, The Fiddle and The Fife exhibition highlights significant local traditional music players and the cross over in laying styles and instruments between local communities in the Ballymena area.
