To celebrate 'Worldwide Embroidery Day', Arthur Cottage is holding 'drop in' embroidery activities the whole month of July to showcase embroidery skills.

Join us for an enchanting month of creativity and tradition at our Embroidery Craft demonstration, nestled in the picturesque Arthur Cottage in Cullybackey. This unique event offers the perfect blend of heritage and artistry, providing a unique experience for both novice and experienced crafters.

Drop  in from 11am - 3pm, Wednesdays - Sundays throughout July.

Event Highlights:

Expert Demonstration: Witness live embroidery demonstrations by our resident crafter who will showcase traditional techniques and intricate designs.

Have A Go!: Get hands-on with a range of embroidery stitches and patterns. Basic materials will be provided, including a selection of fabrics, threads, needles, and hoops.

Historical Insights: Discover the rich history of embroidery and its significance in local culture. Our expert will share fascinating stories and the evolution of this timeless craft.

Refreshments: Enjoy some freshly baked soda bread straight off the griddle
