About

Arthur Armstrong Painting Workshop: Seascapes Tones and Textures

Saturday 1st March 2025, 10:30am - 12:30pm

Carrickfergus Museum

Create your own picture, inspired by Arthur Armstrong’s ideas.  He applied paint in different ways to almost sculpt his seascapes.  He liked pale, blended skies and flat, calm seas.  His flattened angular rocks had great, blocky strength.  He’d give the land dark, earthy colours and his greenery energetic textures.  From your imagination, or an image of the coast, guided by our tutor, paint your own seascape the Arthur Armstrong way.

Cost £20.00 per participant.
