About

See all that Northern Ireland has to offer with a local Blue Badge Tour Guide from Townland Tours. Shirley  will take individuals or groups on personalised tours to discover Belfast, the Causeway Coastal route, the cities of Armagh and Newry, plus Ballymena and Gracehill.

Vegan Table Tour  -  Join me for a combined vegan food & drink, plus walking tour of Belfast City Centre. Lasting approx 4 hours, and visiting carefully chosen venues, enjoy the delights of Belfast’s growing vegan food scene.

For vegans, vegetarians, non-vegans and the just curious,  this tour will highlight the tasty plant-based dishes on offer. Hear of the stories past & present that has made Belfast famous while eating and drinking vegan at the same time!

This tour will be an insight to the love of food that makes us all passionate ‘foodies’ in Northern Ireland. Enjoy!

Belfast Walking Tour - For the Belfast tour visit the home of the ill-fated Titanic ship, walk some of Belfast’s oldest streets and view our own version of the leaning tower off Pisa!  Discover why Belfast expanded so rapidly in the 19th Century, and was nicknamed ‘Linenopolis’. Walk the narrow alleyways, learn of a Rebellion and a hidden river! See the Slipways where Titanic and her sister ship, the Olympic were built side by side. Marvel at the skills that made Belfast the largest shipbuilders in the world.

Gracehill - Visit the village of Gracehill, near Ballymena, in Co. Antrim. Founded as a Moravian settlement in 1765, today it retains all of its charm and tranquillity, with its Georgian style architecture and the Church still the focus of the village. The village was Northern Ireland’s first Conservation Area in 1975, and has won many awards in the years since. It has applied to be listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Decision is due 2024.

This tour visits the village, but please note the Church, Square & graveyard are the private property of the Moravian Church.

You can discover Northern Ireland's wonderful coastline travelling north of Belfast, along the world famous Causeway Coastal route, which has been described as one of the 10 most scenic drives in the world!

Or go south of Belfast to discover castles, telling the stories of Northern Ireland through the centuries, and watch the local fishing trawlers bring their catch ashore. See the Mourne mountains, which as the song says, literally sweep down to the sea!
