About

Ebb & Flow is a delightful craft and gift shop in the scenic seaside village of Carnlough, right in the heart of the Causeway Coastal Route on your way to the Giant's Causeway. This charming shop is home to some of the island’s most unique artists and makers, including its sister business, Antrim Rain Natural Soap Co. You’ll find it right next to the famous Carnlough harbour, which you might recognise from Game of Thrones.

The shop is a real treasure trove of quirky, offbeat crafts. Everything here is carefully chosen, showcasing small-batch, handcrafted homeware and gifts, mostly made by independent designers and makers from Northern Ireland. You can find a wonderful mix of ceramics, jewellery, hand made notebooks and cards, candles, soft furnishings, textiles, unique artworks and more.

One of the highlights is Antrim Rain Natural Soap, made by the shop owner. These soaps are truly special—they’re made using rainwater collected at the top of the glens and contain no animal products, just 100% botanicals. Perfect for vegetarians and vegans, they are crafted using the cold process method with ethically and sustainably sourced ingredients. These soaps are a must-have take-home gift, reflecting the beauty and purity of Northern Irish handmade products.

Ebb & Flow also runs soap-making workshops throughout the year. These workshops are a great way for both locals and visitors to get hands-on and create something special, no matter what the weather is doing on the Causeway Coastal Route.  Check out their website for more details.
