Stone cottage with people dining outside at picnic tables.

About

The Creamery Can is a very popular coffee shop situated just off the A26 between Ballymena and Ballymoney, sign posted for B64 Glarryford. It's a very quaint little stone barn with unique styling and beautiful views to the countryside.

We pride ourselves on offering a full menu of home baked goods, made fresh daily on site. It celebrates artisan food, local produce and local community and has been serving fresh home cooked goodness daily since 2014.

Our menu includes a full Irish breakfast, homemade pancakes, bacon & maple syrup, homemade granola with natural yogurt, cinnamon & strawberries, pulled pork with BBQ sauce in a brioche bun, shredded duck wraps with hoisin & spring onions and much more, including a choice of 5 freshly prepared salads. Specialities are their homemade scones, raspberry friands and their famous caramel squares. They also specialise in gluten free bakes and savoury items all prepared on site. They even produce their own ice cream.

People often ask about the stone barn building itself. Before renovation it was just an old stone barn with no floor in which they kept the oil tank. The beautiful oak trusses were made by a talented local carpenter and the interior design has a distinctly quirky, up-cycled style. All the windows and doors were a new addition to the property, allowing a spacious, airy feel.

Awards - Finalist for Most Welcoming Café of the Year for the Northern Ireland region category of the 1st Irish Café awards 2018.
