The Gobbins Cafe

About

The Gobbins Café in the heart of Islandmagee and within the world class Gobbins Visitor Centre, serves tasty, locally sourced dishes which you can select from a specially themed menu. You'll definitely deserve a treat if you've explored the impressive Gobbins Cliff path!

There are substantial snacks here for the adventurer, such as the Ballylumford Bap, Paddy's Irish Pizza, the Wise Guy Fry and The Seven Sisters salad. Here you will find Robinsons sausages, eggs and fruit and veg from Fosters in Whitehead and freshly made soda and potato bread from Delaceys Bakey in Carrickfergus. There is a substantial range of sweet treats from home made cakes to traybakes from the Pastry Chef in Larne including gluten free options to go with a cup of tea. Emphasis is always placed on good quality fresh local produce.

The cafe puts on a daily hot special and the steak stew is fast becoming one of the most popular choices on the menu. Hearty soup goes down well too with lentil, mushroom and pear and parsnip being some of the favourites.

There is a good range of gluten free and vegetarian options and the chef is always happy to try and accommodate any specific requirements.

Afternoon tea can be pre-booked and makes a lovely gift for birthdays or Mothers Day and all sizes of groups can be catered for with pre booking.

The café is open 7 days a week and has a lovely outdoor seating area with fresh water supplied for thirsty pets.
