About

Cormac Dennis invites you to journey through serene and dramatic landscapes, street scenes and tranquil shores, captured with a masterful blend of mediums. His charcoal drawings bring a raw, tactile quality to the landscapes, emphasizing the dramatic contrasts and intricate details. Painted in studio and en plein air, examples of both highly detailed studio studies and dramatic loose outdoor sketches can be found through the exhibition. In contrast, the oil sketches offer a softer, more fluid interpretation, capturing the ethereal beauty of natural scenes in a timeless monochrome palette.

Through his work, Dennis seeks to evoke a sense of peace and contemplation, inviting viewers to pause and reflect on the quiet elegance of the natural world. Each piece is a testament to his skill...Read More
