About

Flint Knapping Demonstration
Larne Museum & Arts Centre
Saturday 10th May, 11.00am - 3.00pm

Travel back in time many thousands of years to a time where stone was the centre of everyday life.

Learn about our first technology and industry and why the ancient craft of flint knapping was so important to life in prehistoric Ireland.

Join Paul Moore the owner of wild walk Bushcraft as he demonstrates, through the practical application of this ancient craft, why stone was so important.

Paul will have a collection of some of his work along for you to look and hold to really gain an insight into the life of our Prehistoric ancestors.

Uncover a world that time forgot and see how it will awaken your inner Mesolithic mind!

This is a free drop-in family event. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Everyone welcome!
