"Exploring Monochrome" - Art workshop with Cormac Dennis

About

Drawing and painting with the wonderful mediums of charcoal and conté.

Students will enjoy a detailed overview of both mediums, combined with a number of live art demonstrations focusing on the ultra-versatile mediums of charcoal and conté, that are perfect for both studio or plein air work.

The workshop will include a full explanation and demonstration of the materials and tools required to improve the understanding of tone, techniques to improve rendering abilities and overall drawing skills.

This workshop is for artists of all abilities. Full notes will be made available, and all materials are supplied on the day.

Tea and coffee will be provided, however participants are asked to bring a packed lunch.

This workshop costs £55 per person. Cash payment should be made in full at Larne Museum & Arts Centre to secure a place.
