Ireland is a land steeped in story, myth and magic.
From grandmothers spinning yarns at the kitchen table to the great Irish mythological cycles, stories make up the fabric of this place and its people. Traditionally the stories were passed one storyteller to another, in the oral tradition, each of the storytellers would take the tale and make it their own to share time and again with all who came to hear.
Dalriada Legends, a brand new group of professional storytellers and musicians are keeping this storytelling tradition alive, collecting and reworking the old stories to bring to new audiences from near and far...
The Dalriada Legends will take you on a mystical tour of the ruggedly stunning coast and seascapes and into a world of shipwrecks, battles and strange happenings, inhabited by infamous characters, fabled creatures, ghosts, giants and fairies. Through beautifully crafted stories, recitations, music and songs, they delve into the rich history, mythology and folklore of the Causeway Coast and Glens of Antrim.
