About

Hillmount House is a privately owned Georgian house, barn and sea-view gardens located in Drains Bay, near Larne in County Antrim offering a unique venue for stylish bespoke weddings.

What makes our venue truly special is the exclusive hire of our wonderful Georgian Country House for up to 10 people. As we are an owner-operated team, we promise you a professional and personalised service with a down-to-earth approach making your event planning and big day seamless and memorable for all the right reasons.  Please get in touch for further information on packages & pricing.

Weddings

As we are licenced for civil ceremonies, three options are available for your outdoor ceremony, weather permitting: Formal Lawn; Orchard, and Meadow,  (Indoor Ceremony space is available for 110 guests max,)

The Coach House with open court yard and upstairs terrace provides the perfect space for your drinks reception while The Barn can accommodate up to 140 people for dinner, wedding ceremony or entertaining your guests.

We offer weekend house party weddings, all inclusive weddings, day hire and other extras are available.  Photography and filming is also possible in Hillmount House and Grounds.

Residential

The main house with 5 double / twin bedrooms, two bathrooms, large kitchen / dining room, drawing room, cosy living room and formal dining room is available for exclusive serviced hire for up to 10 people. There is private car-parking on-site. 

Entertainment 

We do not provide entertainment but we have a portfolio of performers you may wish to consider.
