About

Larne Market Yard is owned and operated by Mid and East Antrim Borough Council and facilities are available to hire for a wide range of activities.  

Bookings may be considered for: Conferences, Seminars, Exhibitions, Charity events, Community events, Displays, Festivals, Markets, Meetings

Larne Market Yard has two rooms available for hire:

Market Shed - The Main Shed
Capacity 
Up to 120 

Auction House 
Capacity 
Up to 60 

Both rooms have a small kitchen which is made available.  Seating and tables will be made available to hirers; staging, AV, lighting and sound equipment will be required to be supplied by the hirer.

Catering

Hirers may make their own arrangements for the provision of catering requirements for their event.  A kitchen is available within both the Market Shed and the Auction House and this is made available as part of the booking. 

It is recommended that any hirer intending to bring food to the venue for serving, reheating or cooking should consider using a caterer who is a Registered Food Business.

Monday –Sunday 09:00am – 23.00
Additional hours by special arrangement and subject to other booking requirements

Sessions
Morning -Morning events must vacate the room by 13:00
09:00 – 13.00

Afternoon - Afternoon bookings begin at 14.00 and must vacate the room by 18.00
14.00 – 18.00

Evening 19.00 – 23:00

Hourly bookings - These will considered, subject to availability

Please note that the hire period includes time required for “set up” and “take down”

Located on Station Road and depending on the event, there is parking available within the facility.  There are nearby public car parks at Inver Road and Narrow-Gauge Road with some nearby on street parking on Station Road.
