Larne Leisure Centre has a range of theatre and conferencing facilities to suit all types of user and businesses, from small meeting rooms to the larger McNeill Theatre for conferences and theatrical or concert performances.

The McNeill Theatre

The McNeill Theatre is a multi-purpose hall and excellent conferencing facility located within Larne Leisure Centre, which is designed to cater for theatre events (Ballet, Musicals, Plays, Variety Shows, Concerts etc.). 

The venue has automatic theatre seating which accommodates 274 persons and looks onto the stage area fully equipped with lighting for any performance. Alternatively can accommodate 120 cabaret style.

Lighting and sound is operated from a separate control room overlooking the theatre in the balcony area. There is easy access to the stage area for theatre groups unloading sets/equipment and two comfortable dressing rooms are located backstage .AV, and sound equipment will be required to be supplied by the hirer. The is an additional tech cost for in house lighting operator if lights are required.

The sound system quality is superb and a Deaf Loop system has been installed making it a first rate venue for conferences and public meetings/events.

Catering / Hospitality

Hirers may make their own arrangements for the provision of catering requirements for their event.  There is an onsite Café  adjacent to the  Theatre.
