Located at the entrance to Raceview Mill in Broughshane, The Red brick is a destination country coffee shop, offering fresh food and a warm welcome.
The Red Brick takes pride in baking most of its food from basic ingredients every morning. Customers can literally see the food coming out of the oven, and there is simply nothing so delicious as “fresh from the oven” food. It also means, for instance, that Red Brick soups and stew are great for children since there are no preservatives or E numbers. Specialities include secret recipe sausage rolls, rustic scones, fresh baked country buns and the Red Brick big breakfast.
Recipes are devised by Veronica McKeown who says “We don’t use scone mix or shortcuts. The fresher the ingredients, the tastier and healthier the food!”
Red Brick breakfasts are as tasty as a fry, but much healthier. Poached and scrambled eggs, grilled bacon, grilled sausages and beans. Or choose freshly made porridge with berries and honey.
The Red Brick is unique in that it includes a toddlers play area, PLUS a large quiet space where people can enjoy a coffee and a read. It is an ideal place for business meetings, with easy parking. It has a large wood stove in the centre to add to its cosy country charm. In the summer there is a delightful outdoor seating area.
The coffee shop welcomes breastfeeding mums, has disabled access and is dog friendly.
With very easy parking, the Red Brick is a prime location for coaches and bus tours. Please pre-book and order if more than eight people.
