The Cafe @ Water's Edge
Based at the award winning luxury Water’s Edge Glenarm B&B, in the beautiful village of Glenarm, the first of the 9 Glen’s of Antrim, The Café @ Water’s Edge offers a café with something different.
Small and cosy inside with a sunny rear courtyard and front patio for those summer days. We like to think we offer an experience which is personal, peaceful and nourishing. We value the importance of serving quality local produce and supporting and collaborating with local businesses.
Glenarm Organic Smoked Salmon and award winning Economusee, North Coast Smokehouse, smoke roasted salmon, is served in a variety of dishes. All dishes are freshly prepared to order. Vegetarian dishes appear on our daily menus with a vegan option too.
Our cakes, tray bakes and scones are home made by owners Jenny & Pete and we serve and Ann’s Pantry of Larne’s award winning breads to complement our plates. We like to offer healthy option breakfasts, home made soups, light lunches and sweet treats.
The property is situated in the former police station on the Causeway Coastal Route in a stunning setting offering fantastic views of Glenarm Bay and across to Scotland. Glenarm village offers the visitor a variety of experiences. Coastal walks with jaw dropping views, an historic village with an excellent visitor’s centre giving information about the rich heritage. Glenarm forest has riverside walks, red squirrels, a waterfall and well laid out paths. Glenarm Castle is a wonderful visitor attraction with spectacular walled gardens, shops and annual events and festivals. All are a short walk from The Café @ Water’s Edge.
