Whitehead Centre provides a tourism hub for information about what is going on locally and how to make the most of your time in our vibrant and beautiful town.

Visitors to the town can see exhibitions by the many and varied local artists and crafters as well as the permanent mural of Whitehead by local artist, historian and tour guide, Steve Diamond.

E-bike Hire & Guided E-bike Tour - Explore the spectacular coastal scenery of Whitehead and Islandmagee by e-bike. Take a spin around East Antrim’s popular coastal village, through the town to the Diamond Jubilee wood, to the Beach Road Nature Reserve and past the coloured houses on Marine Parade.   E-bike hire half day (3 hours) and full day (7 hours) rental available from £30 - £50 per adult (18+ years). 

Guided e-bike tours are also available to book with 'Pedal2Places' fully qualified guides. Starting at the Whitehead Centre, take a tour of the town and along the Blackhead Path, stopping off for a walk around the iconic Lighthouse on the cliff.  
An ideal way to try out e-bikes for the first time and hear lots of local stories as you go!

Walking Tours - Walk the famous coastal path to Blackhead Lighthouse with local historian Steve Diamond. 
Steve will guide you along this special coastal path designed by visionary engineer Berkeley Deane Wise and around the famous Lighthouse with all the coastal stories associated with this iconic place. Your walk by the sea will be full of surprises, stories, and stunning views.

Walking route includes many steep steps and cliff paths. Pease dress appropriately, sturdy shoes or walking boots and waterproof coats are recommended.  

Duration 2.5 hours - For ages 4+ - from £10 per adult, £5 per child.  Book here .
