About

Sunbeam Cottage was built in 1856 and once owned by the 1st earl of Antrim. Over the years it has been used for various industrial purposes including meal and potato suppliers. Sunbeam potatoes are still grown in the local area.

Situated just off the main A26 between Belfast and Port Rush, both approx. 30 mins by car. It’s a perfect spot to base yourself for visiting many of Northern Irelands tourist attractions such as the coastal causeway where you’ll find the giants causeway where you can hear all about the escapades of the giant Finn McCool. For the Game of thrones fans places like Dunluce and Dunseverick castle, The Dark hedges and Ballintoy harbour. For the whiskey connoisseur, Bushmills distillery is a favourite attraction offering tours and tastings.

Events such as the north west 200, the mid Antrim 150 and the Armoy motorbike races are all within easy reach along with numerous golf courses inc Royal Port Rush & Galgorm

You’ll find an array of excellent restaurants, coffee shops and bars across Northern Ireland. In Belfast you can visit the iconic Titanic Museum or meander round the Botanical gardens or spend some time at the Zoo. Whatever your pleasure, Northern Ireland can accommodate it and in the very centre of all this stands Sunbeam bed & breakfast which has 3 en-suite rooms to offer and you can expect a warm and friendly welcome in comfortable surroundings.
